- California AT&T customers claimed in a class action lawsuit that AT&T advertised wireless data plans as “unlimited” but then slowed data speeds after customers exceeded certain data usage levels. AT&T denies that it did anything wrong. The customers and AT&T have reached a proposed settlement to resolve the lawsuit on a class action basis, as described below.
